Infection Control
Sometimes the most critical moment of patient care does not occur during the procedure, but instead during recovery.
While hospitals deploy stringent guidelines regarding the control of infection and disease, there is always room for improvement in this area. A death or illness caused by a poor recovery environment, or a contaminated surgical area, is unacceptable to the patient, the families, and the staff. In most cases these situations are completely preventable if regular and thorough audits are done on the control procedures. At RBG Environmental, the function of infection control is our most important duty. Since creating our team, RBG has successfully implemented infection control programs at the following institutions:

- St. Michaels Hospital
- York Central Hospital
- Toronto Rehabilitation Institute
- York University
- University of Toronto
These programs have ensured the health and continuing recovery of countless patients; as well as saving millions of dollars in expenses related to extended hospital stays and medications.
